The Secretary of, the North Eastern Council (NEC), is pleased to announce the following rules for the regulation of the NEC Merit Scholarship NEC Scholarship Program was started by the National Education Consortium. These NEC rules can be called “Rules to award NEC Merit Scholarship”. These rules will be in effect from the Financial Year 2024. They will replace the existing rules regarding the above-mentioned scheme.
NEC Scholarship 2024 Application Form Last Date, Selected List, Amount
These schemes and offers are beneficial to students who wish to continue their studies. These scholarships will be available only for Indian studies and will be given by the North Eastern Council Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region Government of India Shillong to eligible candidates from the North Eastern States.

National Education Consortium Scholarship Eligibility Conditions
- Students must score at least 45% in the matric SSC.
- Complete the NEC Scholarship Application Form in Block Letters.
- Use a black pen to fill out the NEC application form.
- The attached photos must have your DOB and name written on them.
- An incomplete form will not get accepted.
- All required academic documents and experiences should be attached to the NEC form.
- The authorized person must attest to documents.
- Last date for NEC Scholarships: 30 April 2023
