HEC Admission Criteria For Students looking to be admitted into the medical or engineering field should take part in the entrance test. Higher Education Commission announces the conduct of this test in order to choose smart and efficient students in both fields.

Education Testing Council (ETC) will be conducting standardized tests to determine admission to universities starting in the fall of 2024. There will be no charge due for the ETC entry test in 2024.

- HAT – UG-M (12 years / equal education in Pre-Medical group)
- HAT – UG-A (12 years / equal education in Arts/Humanities/Social Sciences Group
- HAT – UG-CS (12 years / equal education in Computer Science group)
- HAT – UG-GS (12 years / equal education in General Science group)
- HAT – UG-I.Com (12 years / equal education in I.Com group)

HEC Rules For Undergraduate
Applicants for undergraduate/bachelor’s programs must have intermediate/A-level/FA-FSC (12 years) of education and be under 25 at the time of application. There is no fee to be paid for the ETC entrance test in 2024. Candidates for the Master’s degree need a Bachelor’s degree (16 to 16 years) in addition to being less than 35 years old at the time of application.
