About Jinnah College Peshawar
On 24 July 1964, the University of Peshawar created the College as a constituent College. It was originally called the University Degree College for Women. Safia Hassan was the founder and was also the first principal. Initial intake was 27 students. In 1980, Safia Hadsan retired and there were 1,700 students.
